Damage Protection & Insurance Binder Requirements
Every reservation must have approved coverage before pickup or delivery.
Choose One Coverage Option
Renters must either select the available damage protection option during checkout or provide an approved insurance binder that meets the requirements listed on our Protection & Insurance page.
Option 1: Damage Protection
This is the easiest option for most renters. You can select it during checkout when available for your reservation.
Option 2: Insurance Binder
You may use your own insurance if the binder lists the rented RV and meets our published requirements. It must be reviewed and approved before the RV is released.
Motorhome Mileage, Generator & Fuel
Motorhomes have a few usage items that are checked after return.
300 Miles Per Night Included
Mileage allowance accumulates across your reservation. Example: a 4-night rental includes 1,200 miles.
Overage: $0.35 per mile after the included mileage.
6 Hours Per Night Included
Generator hours are tracked by the onboard meter. You may need the generator for A/C or power when not plugged in.
Overage: $4 per generator hour after the included hours.
Return Full
Motorhomes leave with fuel and should be returned full. Fuel not returned full may result in a post-trip charge.
Travel Trailer & Toy Hauler Towing Basics
We will not release a trailer with an unsafe towing setup.
Tow Vehicle Requirements
- Capable tow vehicle
- Brake controller required
- Proper receiver/hitch setup
- Trailer wiring must work properly
- We use the trailer GVWR, not dry weight, when checking capacity
80% Tow Capacity Rule
We generally use the 80% tow capacity rule based on the trailer’s GVWR. If your setup is not safe, we may deny release or recommend delivery instead.
Not sure if your truck works? Text us your vehicle year/make/model, tow rating, payload sticker, and the trailer you want.
